Integrated Air Control (VFD)

The Integrated Air Control (IAC) is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that provides simple and accurate blower control, allowing you to adjust the performance to suit a range of products.

Designed to be flexible, the IAC does not require dedicated control cabinets, so your air blower system can be easily moved around any site, or used in situations where space is at a premium.

The IAC is installed directly onto the blower drive motor, minimising wiring and installation work, and so reducing project planning and installation costs. As well as this, all individual units are fully pre-wired, pre-tested and standardised as required.

Air Control Unit

Our Air Control Unit (ACU) is an outdoor-rated, dust-tight and ready for washdown duty Variable Frequency Drive that provides a wide range of benefits. Simple to install and connect, our ACU delivers unmatched performance and instant energy savings.

Ideal for hygiene-based operations, such as food and beverage applications, our ACU is manufactured with a sealed ABS enclosure and corrosion-resistant coated heatsink, providing IP66 protection.

Designed to be paired with our full range of highperformance PX and Aria-Pak Blowers, our ACU provides easy and accurate blower control, enabling you to adjust performance to suit a wide range of applications.

External Enclosure Control Options

We supply easy-to-use and water-resistant Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) electrical controls that give you optimised blower performance and total control for increased energy savings.

• Enables operator usage from outside of the enclosure
• VFD enables blower ramp-up speeds, prolonding blower life
• VFDs provide users with maximum control of the energy usage, and can be tailored to particular production rates and specific package sizes
• Easy to stop/start the system
• Maintains safer working environment by keeping the blower and Air Knife enclosures contained

Internal Control Options

The Integrated Air Control (IAC) comes with a range of control options – from a simple-to-use dial to the very latest touchscreen interface – so you can select the exact output level that matches your application requirements, keeping energy usage to a minimum.

• The SolvAir standard IAC unit has an integrated potentiometer dial for adjustable speed control. All IAC units also have a M12 RS485 service interface.
• The mid-level option includes a Foil Keypad, incorporating a dial potentiometer with start – stop, reset, and two preset operating buttons.
• For full remote control of the system a 4.3” TFT LCD Touch Operated Terminal is
  also available.
