Ionized Air Knives for Cleaning Without Water

Ionized Air Knives clean products and containers with air instead of water. During production, dust, dirt and debris can cling to a surface because of static charge. An Ionizing Bar built into the Air Knife neutralises that charge, and the high-velocity airstream then blows the loosened particles away.

Without a water rinse there is less filtration, drying and water disposal, and less risk of microbiological growth from moisture. Blower air carries none of the water and oil that compressed air can, and the Paxton PX-Series Centrifugal Blower that drives each Ionized Air Knife uses around 80% less energy than compressed air.
