A mark cut into the part itself: laser marking that reads the same after paint, plating and years of service.

Industrial Laser Marking Systems
Three E2M laser lines mark permanently without ink, ribbons or contact: Laser Fiber, CO2 and MOPA. The material picks the laser, and between them they cover metals, engineering plastics, organics, board and glass.
Key Features:
- Contact-free marking, with no inks or consumables to replenish
- Mark On The Fly codes parts while they move on the line
- 3D marking with dynamic focus for curved and complex surfaces
- Five marking techniques: annealing, engraving, elimination, decolouring and foaming
- Near-zero mechanical wear, with maintenance limited to lens cleaning
Key Specification:
- Marking speed up to 5000mm/s across a 200 x 200mm marking area
- Power options from 20W to 200W depending on model and material
- Deep marking depth up to 25 microns, for moulds and seals
- Standalone operation with no PC required; PROFINET and EtherNet-IP connectivity
Products in this range
Laser Fiber
Marks stainless and carbon steel, aluminium, titanium, brass, copper and gold, plus engineering plastics and ceramics. A deep-marking mode reaches up to 25 microns for moulds and seals. Runs standalone with no PC, over PROFINET or EtherNet-IP.

Laser CO2
Works at a 10.6 micron wavelength, which suits organic and non-metallic materials: leather, wood, textiles, acrylics, glass and coated metals. The usual starting point wherever the substrate is not bare metal.

Laser MOPA
A modulated pulse with adjustable duration controls how much heat goes into the part, cutting burn marks and burrs. It is what makes colour marking on stainless steel possible. E2M states a source life beyond 100,000 hours.

Drying and inspection sit next to each other on a packaging line. SolvAir Air Knife Systems clear water, condensation and surface debris from containers before they reach the cameras, so E2M Couth vision systems inspect a clean, dry surface. That means clearer images and fewer false rejects.
