The Liverpool manufacturer dried its washed car parts with a combination of compressed air and blower systems feeding individual nozzles. Drying was unsatisfactory, so parts were rejected or reworked, and the compressed air kept energy costs high.
SolvAir installed two Paxton 15kW high speed blowers connected to a combination of Nozzle Manifolds and single-point Air Nozzles, which removed the need for compressed air. Drying improved and energy costs fell, while lower reject and rework levels brought further cost savings.
