2022 has been a year of great challenges and progress.
Rising energy costs and global climate crises have presented considerable issues for manufacturing. At SolvAir, we believe that investing in innovative solutions and drawing on industry expertise worldwide is how we can help individual businesses and national/international sectors deal with current energy problems.
Middle East Expansion
In 2022, we were delighted to expand our operations into Middle Eastern – Arabian Countries with our partnership with Al Fanar Al Dhahabi Equipments Trading L.L.C. Al Farnar, based in Dubai, represent worldwide leaders in manufacturing technologies such as Air Systems and provide technical support, installation, commissioning and start-up for businesses in the region.
Growth in the UK
In 2022, we opened up new premises on our site at Altitude Business Park, Suffolk, UK. Our new facility helps support our new expansion into the Middle East and our existing growth into Europe and Asia. This included extending our production and manufacturing centre and expanding our Research & Development activity at our Suffolk Base.
TBOS – UK Installations
We have been very much focused on solutions for energy savings and sustainable, green manufacturing. Our TBOS (Truck Blow-Off System) is the leading system for plastic pellet removal and pellet cleaning for trucks and tankers. In 2022 we installed a number of UK installations to match the existing European ones, which are now all fully operational and helping our clients meet OCS guidelines and their environmental responsibilities.
New Anglia Business Growth Programme
We were also delighted to receive in 2022 a grant from the Small Grant Scheme, part of the New Anglia Business Growth Programme. This grant is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). We received £2,000, which we used to contribute to a new Goods Lift at our base in Suffolk.
