The German tile producer removed dust with a compressed air supply and curtain transvectors. Energy costs were high, and oil carried in the compressed air stained the tiles.
A Paxton 2.2kW high speed blower now feeds an Air Knife, which removes dust from the tiles effectively. The arrangement is energy efficient, and because the blower delivers clean, oil-free air the tiles keep a high standard of appearance.
