The Problem
The Swansea manufacturer dried its extruded packing strap with a clamping system of absorbent sponges. As the sponges became waterlogged the results grew inconsistent, and the system needed maintenance every day.

The Solution
SolvAir installed a Paxton 11kW high speed blower connected to a top and bottom Air Knife, so a powerful air stream now removes the water without touching the strap. Drying has improved and stays consistent, and maintenance is down to a quarterly blower inspection and an annual belt and filter change.
