What E2M COUTH does on your line
A mislabelled bottle, a case that never got glued, a pallet stacked one layer short. By the time anyone spots defects like these by eye, they’re recalls and downtime. E2M COUTH builds machine vision to catch them inline, at line speed, before the product leaves the plant – and SolvAir is E2M COUTH’s appointed UK distributor, working across food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing.
Six jobs, one range. Inspection checks labels, fill levels, caps, seams, seals and printed codes as containers pass on the belt. Orienting turns each container to the angle the next station needs, with independently actuated side belts driven by machine vision. Rejection takes a bad container off a moving line: gently for fragile glass, by sideways displacement where it has to stay upright, or by direct impact on a fast single-lane run.
Marking lasers put a permanent code or date stamp on metal, glass or plastic, with no contact and no ink to replace. Case packing loads, glues and seals the outer case, from a four-station intermittent packer to a continuous line running at up to 42 boxes a minute. Palletising builds the finished pallet to a layout set on-screen. No manual programming.
Inspection and orienting share the same engine: VisioInspect 2.0, E2M COUTH’s own deep-learning vision software. A label check and a container turn on the same line run on the same software platform. Tell us the container, the line speed and the defect you need to catch, and we’ll match it to the right system in the range.

How SolvAir Air Knife and E2M Couth Vision Systems Integrate Together
On high-speed packaging lines, drying and quality inspection are closely linked stages. SolvAir Air Knife Systems remove moisture, residue, and contaminants from containers, ensuring that surfaces are clean and dry before they reach downstream inspection points. E2M Couth vision systems then perform precision checks on labels, fill levels, caps, and packaging integrity. When containers arrive at the inspection stage already free of water droplets, condensation, or surface debris, vision cameras can capture clearer images with fewer false rejects.
The result is a more reliable, efficient production line with reduced waste. Together, SolvAir’s energy-efficient blower-driven drying and E2M Couth’s intelligent vision inspection form a complete quality assurance solution, from surface preparation through to final product verification.
What Are Artificial Vision Systems?
With the advancement of technology, there are more and more tools that can be implemented in different industries and companies, such as the artificial vision systems from E2M COUTH. Throughout history, the human eye has been responsible for all tasks, but with the advent of these systems, they have been completely relegated due to the high level of precision and thoroughness of these artificial vision systems.
For those who want to know what these systems consist of, they could be defined as automated and fully intelligent methods that make it possible to accurately and thoroughly process and analyse images of products passing through a packaging line.

E2M Couth & SolvAir Partnership
SolvAir is the exclusive UK partner and distributor for E2M Couth’s full range of vision inspection, orientation, rejection, marking, case packing, and palletising systems. With over 30 years of manufacturing expertise, E2M Couth has installed vision solutions in over 60 countries, serving the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and automotive sectors.
In return, E2M Couth distributes SolvAir’s Air Knife Systems and Centrifugal Blowers to their global client base, creating a reciprocal partnership built on shared technical knowledge and overlapping industry presence.
